Six people on the Mesa, about nine houses a year

We keep the studio small on purpose. The designer who measures your rooms on the first visit is the one who walks the house with you on install day.

Oak shelves and sage armchairs in the Mesa bungalow

We started Linden in 2014 in a garage off Cliff Drive with one client, a Riviera house that needed everything.

Twelve years later we are six people in a converted workshop on the Mesa, with a sample library of about four thousand fabrics, stones and finishes and a small warehouse in Goleta where every delivery lands before it reaches your house.

We take on about nine houses a year and a steady run of single rooms. That number is deliberate: it is how many we can do while one designer stays with each house from the first visit to the last lamp.

Three rules we do not bend

One designer, start to finish

One designer, start to finish

The person who measures your rooms is the person who signs off the install. You never re-explain your house to someone new.
