Order upholstery the week the plan is approved
Custom sofas from the workrooms we use in Los Angeles are running twelve to fourteen weeks. Ottomans and dining chairs, eight to ten.
Buy vintage the day you see it
A good rug or a pair of restored chairs will not wait for a meeting. We hold a small approved budget for vintage so we can say yes on the spot.
Leave lamps and curtains for last
Lighting and curtains run five to six weeks and are easier to get right once the big pieces are placed. Everything lands at our warehouse first and goes to the house on install day.
Start with two hours at your house
A designer walks every room with you, measures, listens, and sends written notes the same week. The visit is $450, and it comes off your design fee if we go on to work together.
